Tuesday July 28 - Bring it on!

Year 9A are only one day into the Binga adventure for 2009 and already there is so much to say and see.
We started out early on Monday morning with packing the bus and worship to see us on our way. Joe proved to be an absolute champ at bus packing, already showing us the Binga spirit.
For future reference Joe, make sure you grab all of your own bags!!!!
We all then shared worship for students, parents and staff that reminded us of the adventures ahead and the opportunities 9A have to grow and learn about themselves during this time.
Then with a kiss and cuddle from mums and dads (and a scattering of tears) we drove off.
And we drove.
And we drove.
We stopped off at Wivenhoe Dam – which contained water!!! – for a yummy morning tea of Tim Tams, lollies, chips and coke.
After a lively game of footy, and a pit stop, we continued to drive.
After travelling through the dust, that somehow actually entered the bus, we arrived at Binga, amid cries of “There are the horses”, “Where are the cows” and “Is that where we’re sleeping?"
Everyone met the supervisors and settled into their cabins.
After seemingly no time at all, I needed to leave the kids….. for a whole 4 weeks !..... and start the huge drive back to Faith.

I wish 9A the best for their month away, and will miss them every day.
